I also want to recommend a 2010 WDW Guidebook that is really fun to read.I kept on reading it every time I went to the bookstore and finally just bought it. Apparently they were approached by Disney to write this updated version...and it is full of fun facts about most of the attractions. Unfortunately i am not planning a trip to WDW soon it is still fun to read. I actually find it to be amazing with 2 small children you have time for posting but you seem to have a lot of love and fun and energy. And your children are adorable in those 2pics. I guess that is my overdue welcome to LP!

But then I had the same thought... it would be very easy to see a change in the quality and frequency of major new additions to Disneyland, and how they fit in with the themes of their locations.

The pictures in that book are gorgeous.

Dave, that "One Day at Disney" looks amazing! As a kid, I always wished they would do that. (Like the 1980s coffee table books, "A Day in the Life of America" and its sequels.) Is it full-size? As glamorous as it oughta be? My one disappointment with most Disney photo/art books devoted to one artist has been that too many aren't as large as I'd like. I would pony up a lot for a large-scale version of "The Art and Flair of Mary Blair" or a solid coffee-table book with BIG images by John Hench, Peter Ellenshaw, Herb Ryman, or Harper Goff. And why haven't they ever done a book on Marc Davis? This is mind-boggling (to a geek).
