Now, while I hoped with chief minion Michael Mendenhall leaving for a 'too good to turn down opportunity' with HP, that Jay's day was finally drawing to a conclusion, I'm starting to (sadly) wonder. He got his wretched YoaMD extended another year, so marketing doesn't have anything to do. He had that 'announcement' as well as the Hawaii resort purposely timed to EC's 25th so as to make sure the focus was far away from O-Town ... and then, of course, was the apparent edict that anyone who was someone (except for the wonderful Marty Sklar) to stay far away from WDW on 10/1 ... well, it all sounds like someone feels empowered. If true, this isn't a good thing for Disney P&R.

So sales of those wonderfully generic souveneers(SP) will increase. I am one who wishes not only for mr jay to get shone the door but his minion mr weis as well. I hate the disney parks concept. Each resort is a unique experience and should be marketted as such. So what if it costs more to do it?

What YoaMD is great at doing is taking credit for those guests being at WDW.
