Imagine how unexcited the guests in MK, DLP, TDL, and HKDL must be about DLRs 50th anniversary - why should they care? I've asked this before but I've never seen an answer - does the 50th souvienir merchandise in the other parks have 'disneyland' anywhere on them? If not, it must be confusing to have '50th anniversary' items without alluding to what the anniversary is for.

"Happiest Celebration on Earth" is, in my opinion, a great, great positioning line that contains some important, and subtle information. -- The phrasing "Happiest... on earth" directly references the tag line that has been applied to Disneyland with great consistency for years; -- "Celebration" is just vague enough to not convey downright wrong information, and happy enough to entice; -- "On earth" also emphasizes the global outreach of the celebration. All in all, I am impressed with the way this promotion was pulled together and executed. (And I was in the crowd that was, frankly, getting ready to be disappointed.)

I would assume over 100.

I cannot get enough of the fireworks and figure this is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity for me. I would have to live to 102 to make it to the 100th.

It's just a shame I live 456 miles from DL. Gee looking at this post I hope I don't sound like I boasting, I'm just going thru DL withdraws (eyes twitching)
