It does say "One coupon per purchase" which I would take to exclude trying to get a double discount on one AP. But it doesn't indicate that I can use one coupon for more than one AP ... anyone???

As far as I understand, you need one coupon per person.

It does say on the coupon that it must be used at the Main Entry Ticket Booths, so upgrading doesn't seem likely. You could call someone to check, but 1. your hopper would need to cost $129 or less (cost of the SoCal AP after coupon) and 2. you need to be a SoCal resident.
