Anyway, a new promotion was announced after I booked with the WDTC and I wanted to save the money too. I asked them to change my price (I think it was $120 less) to the new promotional price and they wouldn't. I then said that I would use the insurance cancellation and rebook. That would cost me $60, so at least I would save $60. They gave me to a supervisor and she gave me the new promotional rate anyway so I saved the full $120. Of course I did do all this with laryngitis, so maybe she gave me the rate because they were sick of hearing my squeaky scratches excuse of a voice.

But yeah, I did call last night and they quoted a price of $129 a night for PP, which is nearly half what we are paying. Almost makes me want to go another weekend!! One note of interest: when I called Central Reservations and said I was an AP holder and asked for rates, they gave me much higher rates; then I said I thought there were much lower rates available for AP holders. Suddenly the lower rates were offered. So do be sure to ask for those lowered rates! Thank you nickapoohiluvu for posting the info!!!!!

Much to my dismay we had to book GCH because PPH was booked for the dates he needed. Oh well!!!(I would make a smiley face but I am keyboard challenged!)

I decided to grin and bear it and pay the rack rate since I keep getting the run around with WDTC.
