So for most folks, about $50 to $100 more to get a Deluxe Annual Pass.

What you want to do is get the ParkHopper, take advantage of Early Entry (need the ParkHopper) and then check the blockout schedule, either online, or stopping by the Bank of Main Street and verify there will be no more blockout dates on the schedule. Disney's policy is that you can upgrade on any day the ParkHopper is valid, so if you have a 5 day ParkHopper, then you can choose any of the 5 days to upgrade. You can't do it after the fact, but it works just fine if you do it on your last day.

But basically after you have used your Early Entry, and there are no blockout dates, just head to the Bank of Main Street, near the Main Street Train Station with your ParkHopper and a mode of payment. And the entire family needs to go.

You enter the bank and one of the teller windows. The CM will gather your ParkHoppers, scan them to get the actual value of them (what you paid, no matter which day you are upgrading, you get full credit), then gather names, addresses, DOB, etc. Then they will take a photo of each person getting an AP. And while you wait, they will print the AP (plastic card, credit card size) and hand it to you (they keep the ParkHopper).

Once you have your AP's, you will be eligible for a 10% food discount at most park locations.

If you have any questions, please ask...
