BUT (and you knew there would be one) I'd rather stay at the All Star Music, which has all new (and more higher end) rooms for the same price ... or All Star Sports, which is currently undergoing the same renovations. I also find the three-story buildings at the All Stars a bit less ghetto than the four-story ones at Pop. I'd stay at any of them ... but I'd rather be at the WL or Poly or DAK Lodge (at least before the DVC plague hit).

I know the Music rooms are supposed to be nice, but atmosphere-wise, I prefer POP.

I must say it's alot of fun to view your walks around the resorts. therer is always something new and different and you have an eye for photography.

I like to stay at nice places and I like to have full service, even on things I may not use ... still nice to know you can. I obviously wouldn't stay at the All Stars or Pop if they weren't acceptable to me. They are. I even enjoy many of the little touches. It's just that the moderates are so much better for usually a very small price difference and I am a huge fan of Port Orleans (the REAL one!) I do get a kick out of Disney calling POP and All Stars 'resorts' when they're anything but. They're motels with giant icons outside, which many find tacky. But resorts they're not.

We spend very little time in the room when it comes down to it. Pop is a glorified motel, but I don't mind staying there at all. I love all the goody icons and it's very colorful. At least it's not Motel 6 bland.
