I only wish I had been able to talk to him for more than 10 minutes.

Of course a really good technical director (like, ummm, ME) would get it all on the first take, but that's just bragging..... Sounds like they needed to do a better job of informing the crowd as to what was going on.

Yes, the emphasis was on TV taping, with down time between numbers and mulitiple performances of the same song. Each performer did two numbers, twice. In addition, on Sunday Jesse McCartney and the Beau Sisters did a final take to allow fans to use their flash cameras. (They allowed no flash during taping the first night). DJ Adam was working hard to keep the crowd "fresh" for each take. On Monday, flash was allowed throughout. Stevie Brock did two numbers twice. Raven did three (I believe) in multiple takes, in addition to a number of intros and wrap ups. If this had been billed as a concert only, I would have been perplexed. But since they did say "TV Taping," (see the first photo on page 23: http://www.laughingplace.com/S howPic.asp?Filename=/files/DLUpdate74/big/P23-001.jpg&Caption=On+April+4+and+5,+Disneymania+in+Concert+TV+tapings+were+held+on+the+Hollywood+Backlot+Stage.&ID=508110) I was happy they invited guests to join in. I'm very impressed that he and Disneyland made his effort so public and were so accomodating to the visitors there. From what you showed, the Park is looking great!
