    Saw Spy Kids this past weekend with my two boys, 11 and 13 - We all enjoyed it! I like the Tim Burton quirkiness and the over the top performances, which fit the genre so nicely. I found the whole thing rather WillyWonkaesque, which is a plus in my book.

    Overall I must say I enjoyed the film in all of its Floopiness. The visuals were a little too washed out making the special effects cheesy at best, but this was doubtless the style Rodriguez was looking for a la MI:2. Loved the exotic locals and latinish music. Child acting was unconvincing on occasion but otherwise this was one tiiiiigght movie. Best effect by far: Van drives off cliff and converts into submarine.

    Just saw SPYKIDS today with my almost 7 year old -- what an awesome flick.

    Fun-fun-fun -- good performances, slightly elevated humor, and almost no gross-out stuff.

    We saw a preview for 'Max Keeble's Big Move' which has lots of flatulence, and gross out humor -- including two shots of men getting kicked in the groin. I hate this kind of stuff! Imagine my surprise when I saw that it's a Disney film!
