The visuals were a little too washed out making the special effects cheesy at best, but this was doubtless the style Rodriguez was looking for a la MI:2. Loved the exotic locals and latinish music. Child acting was unconvincing on occasion but otherwise this was one tiiiiigght movie. Best effect by far: Van drives off cliff and converts into submarine.

We saw a preview for 'Max Keeble's Big Move' which has lots of flatulence, and gross out humor -- including two shots of men getting kicked in the groin. I hate this kind of stuff! Imagine my surprise when I saw that it's a Disney film!
