How often does anyone clean the pipes under or in your homes walls? How often are the pipes from a well or the public hookup redone? Unless you have had major plumbing issues and had it redone due to that I would say not since the home was built. But doesnt really stop anyone from drinking, showering or sitting in a bath in thier own home.

To be honest, I didn't even notice the water at all. I was wearing long pants and long sleeves, so it's possible that I just didn't feel it, but I always remember getting it all over my glasses. It just seemed like they shot a little bit of compressed air at the audience and moved on with it. Either way, I don't think there was enough water in the air to really help any germs out. If the additional water made it humid enough for some exotic diseases to grow, then I would think there would be serious problems in naturally humid places like Florida. And while I don't particularly like getting sprayed with water, it is certainly not the weakest part of the show. If you want to complain about something, make it how absolutely dreadful it is. It's been at least 6 years since the last time I saw it, and was amazed at how much worse than I remember it it was. I didn't have high expectations, but it was gimmicky, dated, and just not that good to begin with. The main film seemed to be out of focus for much of it (which seemed like a problem with the film, not the projection), but the side screen (which appeared to be LCD or equivalent) was just right. The clothes that everybody wore pointed right to circa 1993, making it painfully out of date, even when compared to some other films (like the Star Tours loading video) where it manages to fit within the overall feel of the attraction. It also showed the beginning of WDI's need to come up with rediculous backstories to make attractions fit in their place (the Imagination Institute's annual award, the toy box coming out of Andy's room on a seaside pier, a village that worships a mysterious yeti). There were no less than 4 seperate announcements telling us about the Institute's award and trying to tie it into the Tomorrowland setting. While I really did want to like it, just to prove to everybody that it isn't as bad as everybody says it is, I just couldn't bring myself to do that.

Something went wrong with the filtering system and they picked up an infection. So the fountains water that we play in must be filtered. As far as the squirted water in 4d who knows but I agree with FerretAfros, there is no need for filtration. That water would be no different than the shower. Also remember, most of the infections everyone worries about contracting by touch are viruses not bacteria. Viruses only live for a short time on surfaces, so the danger is much less in the 4d venue than say at a buffet where you share utensils then immediately feed yourself. That's why when at the buffet you serve with your left and eat with your right.

That's why we carry handy wipes and hand sanitizer to every restaurant and wipe down the ketchup and clean our hands after each time serving our plates. Oh, by the way a waitress friend of ours pointed out that most restaurants don't wash the lemons for lemon wedges that they put in your drink. At some point we just have to stop thinking about it.
