I don't don't know if the boards have become less interesting or if my own interests in what I want to post about changed. But I love LP. It really enriched my life for a time and in ways continues to do so even though I'm not on frequently. Some of you may know I'm getting married this year and I've made such good friends with a few old-time "teen" posters that several of them are going to be in my wedding. I definitely value what I found on LP even if I'm not here very frequently anymore.

Also I just realized tomorrow is my 13th Anniversary on LP! WOAH! I was a baby when I started posting here. LOL!

I have been here probably 8 years, I forgot to check, and continue to lurk.

I did feel welcome and "part of the group" for many years. There was a sense of commraderie, but like others have said, there's Facebook now, and just life, that gets in the way or changes your priorities. I still check in once in a while, and will always have a spot in my heart for LP and the many "friends" I met here.

I don't post as much as I used to, but I'm still around. I check out the boards every day. As for Facebook, I don't get the popularity of it. But that's me. Only reason I have a facebook account is that another non-Disney group I belong to uses Facebook as one of it's forms of unofficially official communication, and since I'm an officer of my local group, I have to be there.

I wish some of our long lost posters would return, but I know that life happens :)

You will have to look on right side for the different choices but this is a wonderful few minutes of WDW history

I never really felt the alienation that some of you describe. I always found everyone quite welcoming.

Then again, I have tendency toward reticence, even among coworkers, so maybe integrating tightly wasn't as important to me.
