    Question -

    Lunch or dinner?
How many people are usually there?
Will she really have an opportunity for photos with all of the Princesses or are there too many children there?
What princesses do you normally see?
    How much?
What do you get to eat?
How long does the session go for?

    Thanks so much.

We always go for dinner but according to all the information I could find, lunch and dinner are the same price which is $20.99 per adult and $13.99 per child. I cannot fully confirm this price.
I am unaware of how many the restaurant sits but it is has always been busy when we have gone so it is a good idea to make Priority Seating arrangements at 714-781-DINE.
In my experiences, at Ariel's Grotto each of the princesses will come to your table and are more than happy to chat for a few minutes and pose for pictures. The characters visit every table and you are supposed to wait for the characters to come to you and no one is supposed to interrupt them at another person's table.
The last time we were there, we visited with Ariel, Jasmine, Cinderella and Snow White. We did not see Sleeping Beauty. I believe they rotate but I understand that you can ask your server if and when they are available.
Unlike all the other Character meals, this is not a buffet and you pick a starter, an entree and a dessert from the menu provided. There is an adult's menu and a child's menu.
You can see all the menus at www.dlresortinfo.com. I am not sure as to how up to date they are as they still indicate that it is a meal with "Captain Mickey" but I know that when we went in December 2005, the menu for Ariel's grotto was the same as on this site.
I am not sure of the time limit for dinner and if there is one. We were there for about one hour to an hour and a half. The characters visit during dinner.
You should check the Disney Dining section as there is many threads on this topic under this section.
    Have fun!

The kids had Octo-dogs which are hot dogs with mac and cheese. It was pricey, but we all enjoyed ourselves. I think we were there for over an hour, the place was packed. Definately do priority seating, I saw a bunch of people turned away.
