Also new this year, they were playing Radio Disney style pop music over the loudspeaker with recorded voices of deejays... telling people things like "do not forget to look for hidden Mickeys...jada jada" I thought it was loud and unnecesary. Or maybe as I get older, I get more sensitive about noisy crap. (Except DONNA and Madonna of course)

    Sylvania is a new sponsor for the Osborne Lights this year. I don't think there was any sponsor in year's past. The Sylvania sponsorship was part of the recently announced sponsorship deal between Disney and Siemens (along with sponsoships of Spaceship Earth, Illuminations, the MSEP in DCA and something else that I can't remember)

    Oh, and regarding # 27 - bad show, yes, but at least the guests continued to get their trash on or near the trash can that Disney didn't have emptied.

    Guests are pigs, and Disney does not clean like it used too... Disney is at fault too for adding so many freaking food stands all over the parks which has increased the output of disposable items... such as plastic bottles, paper plates and such.. which has contributed to the added garbage we see laying around.

    No, those search lights are the ones on top of the Chinese Theater. Remember the Chinese Theater? The definite MGM icon that got vanished once they plopped that pin store with huge hat in the way of it??

    I didn't notice queue-ing at all. I went in from the Sci-Fi side but others were also coming into NY Street from the Muppets' side of it.
