Named a Disney Legend in 2005, Art Linkletter was a prolific television and radio personality, hosting several network programs including the perennial example Kids Say the Darndest Things. Linkletter is also known to Disney fans as the host of the opening ceremonies of Disneyland in 1955 as well as the host of the Happiest Celebration on Earth kickoff when Disneyland celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2005. Linkletter was named a Disney Legend that same year.

RIP Mr. Linkletter. You "heartily endorsed" my Game of LIFE as a kid, now I want to return the favor and endorse your LIFE as an inspiration to all. Thanks for all the great memories. And remember, "Kids say the darndest things"!

He was an "endorser" for the Game of LIFE that I had as a kid and had his picture on the box and the $100,000 bills in the game.
