I *do* think that it is a sin what we are doing to the earth God created for us and gave us dominion over, and I think when we come before Him at the great bar, that is one thing we will be held account for.

(Unfortuantly my own actions don't match my beliefs as much as I wish they would. I still consume and throw out way too much trash, drive a car that gets under 25mpg, and rarely am able to buy organic. *frown*)

    That's a good point.

They're so all-fired concerned about the stem cell boogy-man (watch out! they'll clone humans next!), and yet they don't address the sins of their own people, certainly something to be noted if you want to talk about modern day transgressions.

Anyway, the whole "polluting is a sin" is all well and good, but it's amazing that the issue has been around for decades and yet now the church bothers to address it.

Shows how out of touch they really are!

You do realize how ridiculous that is. We've had earthquakes and floods oh, since before people were here. And environmental havoc? Like an ice age which we've had a few of?

"yet they don't address the sins of their own people"

Yes. And that's the prism through which I view anything that particular church does. It harbors child molesters.

But I will say this pollution thing is a good idea from them. Glad they are on board with this. It only took half a century of evidence. At least they did not wait as long as they did with Galileo.

Today are we now 6 hours behind due to daylight savings time? And do countries in Europe practice any sort of time shifting such as daylight savings time?

Yes I know this is off topic, but you thinkers read WE so I figure you'll know.
