Usually in Jan they aren't open yet for those two rides, unfortunately. Small world was closed for 9 months before it opened for christmas but they opened it on Nov 28th or 29th. And Haunted mansion was closed September 2 to 25. Also if you like seeing those things up and all decorated try going Dec- 4th-17th it is not that busy we go usually sun-wed and we had 5-20 minute wait even for the newly opened Small world (with holiday overlay) Just though I would add that, that way you would be sure to catch the rides you want.

In 06 Small world was closed from October 23 - November 9 In 07 Small world was closed from October 22 - November 8 So just a guess that it will be closed from October 20- November 6. It is typically the same time each year.
