The only down thing about it was when my folks watched the Lawrence Welk Show. good to know I wasn't the only one to suffer thru Larry W -- my dad was a huge fan ( and also of Mario Lanza ) -- And with all of 4 stations on the air at that time here ( Chicago ) CBS / NBC / ABC & WGN and only 1 TV in the house - we were indeed stuck. fwiw - yes - Faye was stunning in B&C Lada Edmund Jr -- the name rang a bell but I have to admit I had to google to bring back an image. With Glenn Miller / Lawrence Welk etc ruling the music in our house - it was hard to get 'alternatives' heard...and AM radio was little help either.

My son(26) gave her son(5) his old Nintendo 64 and gs is playing all the old games. Can't imagine the 64 graphics compare favorably with the XBox. Happy's other name is "the queen of clean" but that has it's advantages, during the holidays I can sit at the table and talk, while she puts everything away and cleans up, works for me.
