Not just paper (but there was plenty of it), the shells are in-cased within plastic, and are about the size of a cantaloupe. The explode in pretty big pieces so it doesn't rain down little shards of plastic everywhere. But It does drop huge pieces of thick plastic from the sky. We took shelter in the next level down LOL.. It was a magical/London bombing blitz experience. This was back in days before the new technology (before 2004), I dont know how it is now.. But that was so cool! P.S. Of Course I would never do anything like that now ( eh hem..)
