The Baloos will be away from their computer so I thought I would try to help get things for sure.) If you have RSVP'd on the other thread please do it again here. There are a lot of posts there and it gets a bit hard to follow. So lets make this visit to the United States a good one with a warm LP welcome. Thanks all, Ruthie

Lissan22 suggested we meet at the Wharf because of available parking. I have no idea about that, but some people have reminded me that there is a parking structure nearby, so meeting at Ghirardelli Square sounds pretty ideal. If you’re an out of towner and plan on attending this meet, Ghirardelli square is just two or so blocks North of Fisherman’s Wharf. There is a Cable Car turntable nearby, and that will probably get us all anywhere we might wish to go. Now for that breakfast or lunch, Lissan22, bless her, called around and found two places that would take reservations for a group our size, Boudin’s Bakery and the Argonaut. Boudin’s website states that they will be closed for maintenance during our meet so that leaves the Argonaut if were looking at a place near the wharf. The Argonaut’s restaurant is Blue Mermaid Chowder House & Bar. It looks pretty decent to me, except the website states that they open at 11:30. The Baloo kid’s will have withered away from starvation by then, so my suggestion is Dave feed’s the family at a reasonable hour before the meet at 10:00, like maybe 5:00 a.m. our time, the real time, because after all, even though Doobie lives in Florida, LP has the decency to use real time, that is, Pacific Standard Time. We should agree on it if we want to have a lunch together. I vote that we do. I don’t know San Francisco like I used to, and I can’t think of another convenient place that can handle a dozen or more people, so I’m voting for the Blue Mermaid Chowder House & Bar. Here’s a link to their website and you can click to see their menu If you’d like to. http://www.argonauthotel.com/a rgdini/index.html After our lunch (or the Balooo’s dinner) we can go cable car riding to wherever we agree to and Chinatown sounds as god as anyplace to me, but let’s make suggestions now. O.K. people, SIGN UP NOW!
