It's not like all the girls at BBB are going to be dragged all around the country to compete in pageants. And even that I suppose has its place, to some. There are many people out there (not on LP) that think my passion for Disney is just as outrageous.

I've heard nothing bad about this from other mothers who have taken their kids. I think if they want to do it, then why not let them feel special for a day? Why is it naseating? I'm probably going to take my little girl. It's part of the FUN of being a little girl, dressing up, playing pretend, geez, now THAT has to be made into something horrible? I'm sorry, BUT if you are looking at a little girl with pink lipgloss and glitter in her hair wearing a cinderella costume and the first thing in your head is "streetwalker" SHAME ON YOU!!! This is a CHILD playing dress up!! I have a photo of my daughter with lipstick smeared on her cheeks, my heels on, and a string of beads around her neck, she was playing dress up, it is the most adorable, precious picture I have and I will cherish it forever. She was trying to be like mommy, how cute! Why is it ok for boys to play army guys or cops and robbers, but it's not ok to play dress up???? or wait, is cops and robbers no longer "ok" for little boys to play? Let children be children, little girls have been playing dress up for years, DECADES!! My mother played dress up 60 years ago! Little girls go through such a SHORT stage of princess/dress up play. Between the ages of 3-7 8 is pushing it...why can't a parent and their child enjoy this brief, and NORMAL stage for little girls? I personally have seen photos of a friends daughter after her photo shoot and it was ADORABLE. She had a slight pink gloss to her lips and faint glitter on her eyelid an ADORABLE tiara and little ringlets coming down, wearing a cinderella costume, so sweet. Her mother will cherish that moment forever. I love that my daugher plays dress up, I don't feel like a bad parent for thinking of taking her to BBB, nor would I EVER accept someone calling my little 'Disney Princess' a STREETWALKER...that lit a fire in me, this is why dateline has it's show! Plain and simple????? Bibbidi bobbidi boutique= playing dress up! That's IT!
