It's a nice perk, but it doesn't seem like it's open to all guests at all times

I figure "they" may just not have taken the site down - I have found a LOT of the "Magic Bands" stuff doesn't work right at least in the planning stages - and I would assume if there IS a FastPass entrance it may be valid but if there is not, it isn't. I do have a FastPass+ (printed up the confirmation page - they don't give you a reservation # to link) but even the people who have reportedly used theirs say is doesn't show up on the Magic Bands.

However, we just got in the stand-by line where we were told we would probably have a wait of 45 minutes (World Cup was on so DH and DS were happy watching in on DS's phone) but we really only had to wait 20 minutes. (This was at 1PM, pretty prime lunch time.) They have water and umbrellas available as the line in uncovered and very hot. The restaurant CMs were very efficient which I think is a large reason for the very reasonable wait. There is no true FastPass entrance, just a person at the entrance to the line who controls that but also makes dinner reservations if there are any cancellations (we could have had dinner at 4PM our first day at MK but already had plans elsewhere). We loved the theming.
