If you are comfortable with the ocean, I like Huntington Beach.

Let me know if you need directions.

If I split my time between the beach and DL, I like to stay at the Embassy Suites on Dyer Road in Santa Ana. I stayed at the Hampton Suites next door in March, and it was nice, too.
