I'm sure he's a wonderful father. However, he often plays irresponsible characters in films and that casting does make this an odd choice in my opinion. I'm not commenting on the real-life person, Adam Sandler, but the types of characters he has played. >>>Why does it matter again? Given his prior films, I would have to preview the movie before letting children see it, regardless of the Disney branding. The trust is not there. That can change, but it's certainly not there for me right now. I might rent it, but it would not be a theater-night family outing when I have no idea what we're about to see. >>>I know he certainly wouldn't have the job at my house!<<< This is not a jab at who Adam Sandler is in real-life by any means. However, there are only a few cases where I would let the characters he's played tell bedtime stories to my kid. I'm glad all of you so far are great champions for Adam Sandler movies. I am not. I hope Disney made a good gamble on y'all.

Of course, I can understand if your simply not a fan of Sandler lol. The only problem would probably be that if a child liked him or the movie and tried to seek out more on the internet, it could lead them to other projects he has done which are less family friendly.
