We got to spend a quite half hour strolling Main Street before the park opened as our guide explained a lot of the history of the park, and pointed out some details on the street that you normally wouldn't notice. They also select about two rides to do (ours were Pirates and Haunted Mansion), giving you some history and trivia prior to riding. We went backstage in two spots, the first where the parades exit near Splash Mountain. This was very interesting (though a little sad to see behind the "magic"!) to see where things are housed, cleaned, etc. The second spot we went through was into the Utilidoors via one of the shops on Main St. The Utilidoors were fairly utilitarian, but very interesting to learn about. The guide said there's even a Starbucks down there for the employees! It was a very informative tour, I believe it's ages 16+, and lasted about 4 1/2 hours. I would recommend it for the history lessons and the opportunity to ask questions and confirm rumors, but again even though I know the parks are all facade, it did make me a little sad to see the other side!

You wont be able to go "backstage" and really see how things work at WDW until you're older.
