I think post 7 is correct (thanks JohnS1) Money is everything. For just one example, I'm thinking about Steve Job's liver transplant. I need to go back to reading all the books I read in high school about how the world revolves around one thing: MONEY When I was in high school we were trying desperately to make the world revolve around LOVE. I feel so sorry for my grandchildren.

Yes, we know the kids CAN work their way through college and get loans, but for the people who saved and thought they were doing better for their offspring than their parents, it is more than just money. I agree with a poster from another board. Dear Bernie got off easy. They should have assigned him a minimum-wage job with no insurance for the rest of his life. Make him live on his wages. Make him take public transportation. He can sign up for food stamps if he needs them. Instead, he gets to live out his life in a protected prison with free food and free health care until he dies.

Somehow I don't think it's going to be as cozy as you make out. In my opinion, the punishment he got fits his crime.
