    Typically, the gates open earlier than the park. The stores on Main Street are open, and you can walk as far down at Coke Corner and the Photo Shop, where the rope is placed. At the designated park opening time, the drop the rope and allow people full access to the park.

    I don't know the answer to your first question as we are typically sound asleep at that time :)

    Ok, Ok they were in line licking their chops 30min prior on an EE entry day, 1.5 earlier than regular park opening. My mistake.
