    I have mixed feeling now. On one hand I want to say THANK YOU to Disney for getting rid of this and on the other hand I want to say "Bye" for the blatant greed Disney showed with this program.

    When I heard of this I wrote to Disney and told them they lost my business (like *I* really matter to THEM) and received a call back. I had an opportunity to explain in person my disappointment with the new policy.

    I wonder if they will contact me to let me know this ridiculous program is no more.



    As a side note:

    I just got back from a five day trip to Orlando and did not step foot on Disney. I stayed downtown for a night and then moved to I-Drive.

    We had two wonderful days a Universal and City Walk. I could easily see myself booking a stay here.



    Now that the best rate program is no more I will but an AP again at some point. I would have renewed if not for this policy - now ... I will renew at some point.

    Me too. But you need to be careful. A friend from New England, also an APer, called today and got two CMs who swore up and down that the info wasn't right and that they had to give one night's deposit no matter what and they could only do them by phone from 2-5 p.m. ... totally clueless.

    Finally, No. 3 was able to book them into FQ for the great rate of $79, which again tell you how overbuilt Disney is.
