OK, since the hours will be short when we visit in November we would prefer not to stake out a place for a parade for too long a time.

What are your suggestions for the best place to watch the parade with only about a 30 minute or less waiting time.

    Thanks ~ Brenda

Fri-Sun, it will also perform along Route 66, starting at Golden Dreams. The first show is usually at 5:15pm, with bug's land starting aroud 5:30pm, and Paradise Pier starting atound 5:45pm. You can usually walk up to a great spot in the Pier, but if you watch from Sunshine Plaza, try to get ther 15 minutes early to be on the curb.

IMO, the best place to watch is the Pier stop. The crowds are always smaller and you can follow the parade to the gates by Maliboomer, where they do a little mini-show before they wrap things up.

Just make sure you don't miss it! The Party Zones (performance areas) are marked along the parade route by banners featuring Pixar characters. Make sure you are in those zones, otherwise you will not see the show.

To get more advanced, Block Party Bash has three main units: Toy Story, Monsters Inc and a bug's life. If you have a preference as to which unit you'd like to be near during the show, here's a little guide.

Sunshine Plaza: For bugs, stay on the Hollywood side. For Monsters, in the center, between Greetings from California and the Information booth. For Toys, the Condor Flats side.

a bug's land: For bugs, stay towards the Sunshine Plaza. For Monsters, stay closer to the northern side of Golden Vine. For Toys, the bug's land entrance and closer to Pacific Wharf.

Paradise Pier: For bugs, stay near Golden Dreams. For Monsters, Laod Bhang's pin cart, between Golden Dreams and Souvenir 66. For Toys, stay near Souvenir 66.

    Hope that helps!

My boys love the Incredibles and we're going to be there the first week in December this year to enjoy all the festivities.

Basically the last section of the Parade route (the exit gate is between Pizza Oom Mow Mow and the Maliboomer).
