Pinnochio Village Haus has a new menu - Be sure to get a look. And the barbecue place behind Big Thunder as well.

My 2 personal favorites for dinner are:
French Market - New Orleans Square
    Plaza Inn - Main Street

Best pizza is Redd Rockets, and best burgers are definitely Taste Pilots. I tried the new "angus" burger at Village Haus and was very unhappy. I will give it one more try. (The Diz Kid liked his burger with pastrami from the Village Haus, though.)

as for sandwiches, I like the ones they serve around the corner at Tomorrowland Terrace. They tend to switch that menu around, though.

Must try the Cobb Salad at Plaza Inn, the Dole WHip at the Tiki Room, and chocolate covered dipped pretzels back at the Pooh candy store in Critter Country. It's all good!

None of the DCA eateries are remarkable, they seemed to rip all the good ones out or fine tune them far too much.

If you want a burger, don't eat it at in the parks - but ESPN Zone do good ones. Sandwich, the Riverbelle Terrace is ok, but there are better options IMHO (Rancho del Zocalo). If you want Pizza, pop to Downtown Disney and visit Via Napoli.

for fine dining I recommend the Napa Rose, Steakhouse 55 and Catal. For a moderate, Tortilla Jo's.

for budget, I recommend White Water Snacks at the Grand, Rancho del Zocalo and French Market.

At DL Bengal BBQ (skewers)is one of my favorites. We also like Cafe Orleans(seafood crepes), Plaza Inn(salads and chicken), and Red Rockets Pizza Port.

At DCA we like Taste Pilots Grill(burgers) and Award Wieners(hot dogs).

For a great princess dining experience, try Ariel's Grotto, and for a fun buffet/character experience try Goofy's kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel.

For great steak try Steakhouse 55 at the DIsneyland Hotel.

For a quick snack while at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, try White Water Snacks(located near the entrance to DCA from the hotel).

But, for the best food at the resort, hands down(sorry Club 33 fans), try Napa Rose at Disney's Grand Californian. It's pricy, but you won't be disappointed.

Best bang for your buck breakfast: The Riverbelle Terrace, and the view is *outstandin*!

For lunches my son and I have always liked Hungry Bear for the burgers and chicken sandwiches, but the last visit they had started putting secret sauce on the burgers (GROSS!).
Blue Bayou is always special, but poor value for the quality of food. It's strictly an investment in ambiance.

In DTD, my son and I actually like the Rainforest Cafe. He likes the salmon and I like the Caribbean salad.

With all that R2P2 is usually our "go to" place for lunch unless we are back by the Hungry Bear when the need to eat hits.

Best chicken dinner would have to be the Plaza Inn. Excellent chicken, and a huge portion.

I also really miss the Soap Opera Bistro in DCA, even if its theme was so specific, it drove away most non-soap-fans (I'm probably one of the few non-soap-fans who dined there regularly).

And over on the other side of the country, please remember that 1900 PARK FARE DOES NOT SERVE LUNCH! (inside joke for anybody who remembers me from MousePad)

I really disagree. I dont understand why people order a monte cristo sandwhich when the BB ofers great tasting steaks? I always get the surf and turf with the blue cheese potatoes and have never have a bad experience.

A corn dog from the red wagon is awesome too!
