Last time we saw it near the steps that lead to nowhere near IASW and it was not crowded at all and we saw Alice's parade stop (I think she has 3 or 4). I think near the exit is the most crowded and closer to IASW is the least crowded.

It seems like it would be a lousy spot to see Fantasmic!, with the lighting tower blocking your view. Once it goes up you're front and center with a PERFECT spot for the show, with an investment of only about 30 minutes of wait time.
