Why not go as soon as schools out. The end of May or the first couple of wks in June are not so bad.

Now that my daughter lives in the area I find myself going in July(something I swore I'ld never do again yrs ago). I've even been known to go down in August occationally. That being said if I do venture into the parks it's for a few hours & I spent most of my time in the films I like but don't always get to see when I'm with others.

The last time we were down to actually do the parks in August was when my kids were still in college.

The oldest & youngest went my middle daughter had to go back to school early as she worked on campus. WOW! It was funny how much less they tolerated the heat then when they were younger. I think kids play outside so much(at least mine did) that they are more acclimated to it.

If you can only go then may I suggest you stay on property. There are extended hours & you can take advantage of EMH.

That way you can start early before it gets so hot & then head back to your resort in the hottest time of the day. Take a swim, go to a movie @ DtD, do a matinee @ Cirque, go to a water park or my fave TAKE A NAP!;)

You can go back rested & refreshed to enjoy the rest of your evening when it is somewhat cooler. Boy do I remember the days of juggling everyone's schedule. Have a wonderful.
