Personally, I like the Main tower overlooking the pool. Everyone seems to have a difference of opinion!

The last time I stayed in the Sierra tower was BEFORE DTD, so I can't really weigh in on that other than I shied away from it because I have heard that it can get noisy and I am an extremely light sleeper.

I believe 4Disnee really likes the Bonita tower with the waterfall outside. She has told me that it is a lot quieter and peaceful there.

It all really depends on your preference. What your own likes/dislikes are.

This gives you a view of the DTD corridor and you can watch the fireworks from your room.

You just don't want to be directly below the concierge lounge. They re-arranged the furniture at 6:30 every morning and it sounded like they were dragging it across the hard floors. It was a horrible way to be woken up way too early every morning.

We could people watch in the morning everyone heading over to the coffee shop and Goofy's kitchen and could hear the water falls as we went to bed!

    Ahhhh bliss!

Last week we got 12th floor Bonita Tower (higher than the other towers) facing pools/waterfalls. It was breathtaking! Even the surrounding area for miles (including Knotts) was beautiful. We could see the top of Space and Matterhorn Mountains but I'm not sure if the fireworks would have been visible (mid tower) because we were there during the week off season with no fireworks.

I do believe I am becoming a "hotel floor snob". "Oh, and what floor would you be on?" "Second floor?" "Well, at least it is a quick ride in the elevator!"

From our room, we could see the top of Matterhorn, the top of Big Thunder Mtn. Railroad, and the tip top of Space Mtn., the Grand CA, Tower of Terror, Orange Stinger, and some of the other rides in CA. At night, we'd open up the sliding doors and listen to the music from DTD. It was really nice. When we were ready for bed, we'd close the doors and hit the hay! We did not hear much noise at all with the doors closed.

And on another note, the beds at DLH are way comfortable!!!! I slept better there than I do at home!!!

The sounds of the waterfalls- beautiful!
And with the sliding glass door closed you can't hear a thing!
The view wasn't great, maybe if we had been up higher we could have seen more. All i really saw was the Matterhorn and the Rainforest Cafe.
Also, I wanted Sierra Tower or Marina Tower but they were completely booked.
When I booked the trip 4 months prior I requested Sierra Tower, but they can't promise anything.
That long walk back to the hotel with little ones and no stroller was a big bummer.
I definitely would love to try GCH next time. Love that private entrance!
