If you watch the first one, you can quickly follow it over and watch it again and the second stop. Again, make sure to check the times guide for the performance times and the guidemap will show you the "party zones". You will also see the party zones in that area marked by colored banners along the parade route that say 'block party party zone'. Anywhere within those sections is good viewing. If you are right in front, you may be pulled out to dance with the Pixar Pals. For Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams in Disneyland, no matter where you are on the route you will see a show stop. There are three show stops total- from Matterhorn way to small world parade gate, coke corner/photo shop to Matterhorn way, and from the front of the Main Street Opera House to Coke corner/photo shop. If you are interested in seeing two show stops, you need to be around the Coke corner/photo shop on the end of Main Street, or in the area of the parade route where it turns from Matterhorn way to the Castle. These areas will allow you to see the Opening float/B&B show stop, and the Lion King/Finale Castle show stops. primarily you will see the first float and last float. If you want to see the other floats stops, the order of the parade is as follows: Opening train Beauty and the Beast pinnochio ariel ursula alice in wonderland lion king castle finale-princesses hope that helps out.

I know that for the 7:00 parade, Pinnochio is where tcsnwhite described , Alice in Wonderland is in the middle of the hub (facing Tomorrowland) and the Lion King is just behind that at the end of Main Street. Go with one of these, doesn't matter which, and you can't go wrong.

We watched it this past Tues. 9/26 and were sitting in the Red zone over by the Sunshine Plaza for the 5:15 pm show. I staked out a great place (or so I thought) to watch it. If you look at the CA map, there are some red stars that make a half circle in between the giant sun waterfall and the Golden Gate bridge. We sat near the very end of the zone, the right side according to the map, right in front of the rock formation that is part of Grizzly River run. When the BPB came out, they didn't come out all the way to the end of the zone where it was taped off. What stopped in front of us was the first thing in the parade and it was one of the trampoline things that the performers jump on. We had a great view of them jumping and dancing all over the place. However, not one character came anywhere near where we were sitting or anywhere near the big giant extra space that was left from the trampoline to the edge of the taped off zone. The float that came out right behind the trampoline was a Toy Story one and Jessie was on it. But like I said, she never even got within 20 feet of where we were sitting. Mr Potato Head was in this area too and he didn't get anywhere near us. Needless to say, I was disappointed as well as my kids. A better place to view and see more characters was in front of the train thing to the right when you walk in the front gate that has the bakery and the ice cream shop. Oh, and we did see the Parade of Dreams and sat just to the left of the Photo Shop on Main St. There was a stop there and we got some great pictures along with some good character interaction.
