Having the hotel very near the pedestrian entrance to the esplanade was nice, too!

If you have kids, the pool is rather small, but then again, we didn't choose the hotel for the pool.
We're headed back in august, and I didn't hesitate to book this hotel.

Its interesting to hear that the main complaint of this hotel from LPers is that the rooms are too dark - Well I have to say that it is a little dark - But the pros far ourway the cons here - I think it compairs equaly to the PPH (only BWPPI doens'nt have the views and pool) - But in terms of quality it is almost equal and at less then half the price! Love that little couch and the beds were VERY comfy :)

We don't care at all for the adjacent restaurant. We tried it under different ownership several years ago. My wife and daughter tried it for a light snack this time, it was dreadful still. Based on that, we skipped the continental breakfast entirely.

I might bring some breakfast items if you don't want to do the free continental breakfast. Also pack a nightlite; it's a lot less intrusive (and quieter) than leaving the bathroom light on all night.

I was very pleased with my experience there and I was suprised that it had alittle "disney-feel" to it. The walk to the park was short and much appreciated after a long day! The rooms were clean and pretty nice actually, don't let the outside fool you!

If you're staying at a good neighbor hotel I'd go with BWPPI for sure!

    5. Large refrigerator and microwave.
    6. Movie rentals
    7. Iron and ironing board
    8. Hi Speed internet
    9. Right across the street from DL
    10. Within walking distance of several restaurants and mini-marts
    11. Friendly, helpful staff.

    Con's:
    1. Rooms are on the dark side.
    2. Continental breakfast basically sucks
    3. Pool is small
    4. Outside corridors are basically a cement block with no atmosphere.

To me if you plan on spending most of your days and nights at the DL Resort - parks, eating and shopping with little time at the motel this is one of the best places on Harbor to lay your tired body at the end of the day.

I love BWPPI, I've been staying there for about the past 7 years consistently. I've never had a bad experience. I always know what to expect.
