My son will be celebrating his 10th BD at the park. I've heard about a pin he can get at City Hall. Any info on that? What does it look like and how much does it cost?

For his birthday dinner, we are planning to eat at The Rainforest Cafe (Fri. night). I imagine PS is available and recommended, right? Since we want to also eat at the ESPN Zone during our trip too I was going to make PS there as well and was curious if we can't make it, what happens? Do we call and cancel it? Do they get upset if people don't show?

One last question... last trip I got some fun tips, like touch the apple at the Snow White ride and pull the bamboo in the Indiana Jones line. Any other fun and unexpected surprises like that you could let me in on?

Thank you so much for all your awesome help!

As far as tips like that go, it isn't much of a secret but at DCA I like finding what my "spiritual animal" is. If you want you can ask to ride in the front of the train or the wheelhouse of the Mark Twain.

Have you ever seen the evil queen in Fantasy land? She's been there for awhile, but some people don't know she's there. She is up above Snow White's scary adventures, she occaisionally peaks out of the window.

I'm a trivia geek and every once in a while I'll ask city hall for a copy of the information about the windows. This is a document that looks like it's a copy of a copy of a copy, but it will tell you who all the names are in the windows on Main Street. They may not give it out anymore, I haven't looked in a while.

Looking for hidden Mickeys is fun too. I'm horrible at spotting them, but with a little studying before hand at some of the hidden mickey sites on the web I can find them once in the park. That's always cool.

Oh, and in Indiana Jones, besides the bamboo you can also pull on the rope going into the well.

Some eating facilities at DL may offer a free dessert, but this should not be requested or expected..Rancho del Zocala usually offers a free single scoop of ice cream.

It is a WONDERFUL place to celebrate a birthday...they have birthday buckets you can purchase at Goofy's Kitchen and other full service DL restaurants...just let them know at the time a reservation is made...birthday baloons are available also at these locations, a birthday party you can book at the Plaza Inn...where you will decorate a cake, and have a photo op with Mickey and Minnie.

Then you can take a picture with them all by your self. It is great!!! I still have my birthday button, it is just magical to be in the happiest place on earth on your birthday.
