The waitress at the restaurant told us that they were filming POTC 3 in the waters off of Redondo/ Torrance/ Palos Verdes. She pointed out to us where the ship (I'm assuming it was the Black Pearl) was way off in the distance. As we were wrapping up dinner, the Black Pearl came right in towards the Redondo pier. It was an odd- and very cool- sight seeing a "pirate" ship off the local beach. Mrs. Tantor tried to take some pics, but they didn't come out that great as the sun was setting.
