Blizzard Beach is AWESOME

    Agreed, one of the best waterparks in the world. Check out Typhoon Lagoon next. Although blizzard beach has the better slides, typhoon lagoon is beautiful.

    Yep, when we first started going to the water parks I was surprised to find that we enjoyed them as much as the regular parks. Now I schedule them just like I do the others. Both parks are unique and great fun!

    We tried Aquatica this year and it was very good also although I thought its smaller size and lower capacity placed it at a level below the Disney parks. But it also was a very well maintained and beautiful park.

    Side note- this year Typhoon was drawing more than Blizzard when we were there and were parking guests in a big field b/c the lot was full. so we went to blizzard and it's lot was half empty so if you get to one of the parks and it is full check the other one. In past years we always found blizzard to be busier but it seems word of Typhoon has finally gotten out.

    The theming at Blizzard Beach really is fantastic - I haven't been there for 10 years, but really enjoyed it when I did go. Haven't visited Typhoon Lagoon.

    I think Blizzard is better for the 6 and under age group b/c of the zip line and iceberg area. My kids would stay there for hours. Typhoon is great for all ages but doesn't have as good of a play area for the younger set.
