I wanted to write a review of the park, but haven't had the time ... but it really impressed me in everyway but two: first its 'signature' attraction -- the slides through the dolphin exhibit -- is by far the worst of the park's offerings; and I was saddened to see loads of grafitti carved in the handrails of the slides literally the same week the park had its media debut. As for Disney's parks, I was always a huge RC fan, but loved TL and BB. But BB just has way too much concrete, way too much walking ... it isn't a relaxing place. While TL is kinda like the DAK of H2O parks with lush foliage all around and a very peaceful vibe. You really can't go wrong with any of the three. But I'd go with the new guys on the block right now.

You'd think that piece of real estate would really be valuable for another timeshare and/or outlet mall. But it still seems to attract a fair number of people ... many from Europe and South America. Disney's water parks have a built in audience, but Wet and Wild doesn't have much ... and I haven't been there in about 20 years and it didn't exactly make me want to come back even back then!

Well, there are was still 2 big chunks of land that was listed as "future development" on the map of Universal Orlando's future hotel plans on Screamscape. To me it would make sense to eventually move the water park to Universal property at some point.

I can't imagine the impact that must have on your vacation -- having suffered a few burns myself when I was younger and stubborn about sunscreen. R.
