We sat down and the waiter passed out menus to the adults and then gave me this card. After looking at it I realized that this was for a 12 year old, not a 14 year old like me! Upon his return my dad briefly mentioned my age and with apologies, was given an real adult menu. That was the first time I had a Monte Cristo sandwich.

But wow, it was expensive back then (and people complain now). I used the usinflation calculator and that $2 kids meal would be $13.52 today.

But still, I agree, after the Napa Rose, the Blue Bayou is my fave restaurant in Anaheim.

I think if it were possible today, I'd head for the Tahitian Terrace instead of the Napa Rose because of the show.

Gimme some of that Mahi Mahi!

I was going to mention something along those lines. Minimum wage in 1972 was $1.60/hr
