    Carmalized Balsamic Pecans

melt 1/3 cup brown sugar with 5 tsps olive oil and 5 tsp balsamic vineger over mediumish heat until syrup bubbles about 4-5 mins.
Throw in about 1 1/4 cups pecans and cook another 5-7 mins till the pecans are coated and toasted.
Spread them on a tinfoil lined pan which has been buttered. spread the pecans out so they are seperate and not clumped together. Know you will eat at least 1/4 cup of candied pecans before the salad is served. It is just the way it is...;)

Spinach ( I use one of those bags)
Red Onion cut into thin half moon slices
one (at least one maybe two) pear(s) cored cut into thin slices.
4ozs (or more) blue cheese, I have been using a milder one with cranberries added to it by Rosenburg.
Sometimes I throw dried cranberries into the salad too!!

Maybe 4 tbsps olive oil and 2-3 tbsps balsamic vineger mixed together for dressing?? I always eyeball it but I think those are close measurements.

    Salt pepper
    toss it all together.

Vey very easyto make typing it took way more time...hardest thing to do is making sure you don't eat all the candied pecans..

    Enjoy!
