Disney CEO Bob Iger has been named Vice Chair of the board of directors of Los Angeles 2024, the city’s bid to host the Summer Olympics that year. Iger joins LA 2024 Board Chairman Casey Wasserman, along with fellow Vice Chairs Janet Evans, four-time Olympic champion; Lakers legend and business leader Earvin “Magic” Johnson; nine-time Paralympian Candace Cable; and labor leader María Elena Durazo.
