It was an instant loss of focus on their market, and an invitation for disaster.

It was an instant loss of focus on their market, and an invitation for disaster.>> Absolutely ... there is such a mix there now ... from conventioners on expense accounts chugging back jello shots, to wannabe gangsta rappers looking to get lucky, to CMs looking to get lucky too (albeit with a different demo for the most part and only after they've bashed management thru at least two Comedy Warehouse sets) to Midwestern DVC families to stroller pushers who just wander through ... well, they wanted a mall and that's exactly what they got and that brings all sorts of other problems. But removing the insulation from the real world by trying to develop every square inch of property and making numerous entrances/exits where for years only one really existed ...well, it was a recipe for disaster. Disney is simply overdeveloped and, much like the Four Corners/Clermont area, that development came without a thorough plan for everything from infrastructure/transport needs to what all those people coming in would do to the character of the area.
