The market is crappy here, so we'll rent out & try to sell THIS house next year. I guess I'll be doing APs for WDW instead of DL now. It's closer to Houston. We're aiming to live in the Clearlake area. Any input would be helpful!! We flew over there a couple of weeks ago & found a home we liked. We're in mortgage limbo (waiting for the go-ahead on the offer). Other updates: The daughter with fibromyalgia had a lupus scare! It's either really early into it, or not what they thought. Time will tell! I'm healed from last Spring's back surgery, but the months of no motion left me 15 lb. heavier... which has me fighting depression. Oh well, life will still go on. Now I'm the full time caretaker of 2 of my grandsons. Soon to be 10 & 6. I have way too many irons in the fire, as usual. At the moment things are going OK. Could be a bit less full of stresses, but OK. Today is my birthday & I'm spending the day wearing a tiara. I just walked over to the school & picked up the younger munchkin...tiara & all! LOL!! You just can't be too over stressed or depressed when walking around in a tiara!!

At first it was in 2 years when a work contract is up... now it seems like it will be sooner. The company is being cooperative!! I think they'd just go with us, if it were their choice! The soon to be 10 year has an imagine in his head of riding John Deere trackers there. Um, not my plan! I'm a 'burb person. :0

They know I don't threaten....if I say it, I'll follow through. Sure makes a difference!! I do a bit of classroom time at their school too. Right now I'm waiting for my "date" so we can go out for dinner. Being a weekday (school night) they boys won't be included this time. They will get to do whatever they plan this weekend. I'm sure they're plotting ways to get put in the moving truck!! Both have insisted they're going with us....with or without mom! Yeah, like she'd let that happen! If they choose the same TX area, there's great schools there. So if I'm doing the same thing as now...it would make things as easy as here. (we now live right behind their school) I'm hungry! Our last trip to DL I indulged in a churro, a giant cinnamon roll & some gumbo. Things I'll miss. I've been a DL APer for a very long time! This was my first non AP visit there in 16 years! Fights from Houston to WDW are pretty cheap & don't take long. So that will be my new Disney home!! Take off Friday afternoon & come home Sunday night.....*sigh* sounds heavenly!!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Dinner was a wonderful, peaceful event. Food & service was great. I wore one of my tiaras. I collect them & only have one non-Disney one. I always hit the princess shops when we're at the parks to see if there's a new one out yet. Do you think I should start a thread specifically asking people here about the Houston area?
