They have two science papers, three English and three maths.

Im more nervous than when I did my exams in senior (high)school!! He has maths in the morning, then that is it, phew. My brain aches because Ive been helping him revise.

They're having a party at school at 2pm tomorrow to celebrate the end of the weeks tests, and all parents are invited.whooooooooooooooooooo a party!

Kieran (my son) decided it should be a restaurant theme, and volunteered to supply the food (mmmm, thanks Kieran, 31 children and their parents!) I managed to reduce the amount we were bringing, lol, things like nachos, dips etc. Theyre to be in fancy dress with sombreros and ponchos (that cost me a bit too).
They've designed and sent out invitations to the parents too(quite a few of whom are unfortunately working though at that time).

So, Im very relieved the week is almost over, I can turn my brain onto slumber mode again, lol. On the up side, I have remembered a lot of things I had partly forgotten, like pollonation, defining quadrillaterals and evaporation.

We have to wait until July for the results. LONG wait. The average is a 4b at his age. His teacher expects him to get 5b in all the three subjects theyre tested on.

They did last years SATs a few weeks ago to prepare them. He got 5b in English and Science, and a 5a in Maths. The highest in his class. The headteacher (principle?)came to congratulate him even. So fingers crossed he will do the same in the REAL ones.
    Fingers crossed please. xx

    thanks for reading.

My daughters start theirs next week. I dread them!! Think they put way too much pressure on testing and should worry more about the big picture! Hope all goes well for you!! :)
