That was okay, and rather cheap (8 or 9 bucks, includes juice and coffee which is rare). To put it bluntly, OUR idea of breakfast is not something that you see very often in Japan. lol. And even Japanese breakfast (traditionally rice, miso soup, maybe a piece of fish and/or a nice steaming bowl of rotten soybeans...and green tea of course) is not really served in restaurants. I think the Japanese don't really warm to the idea of a big, or late morning, or palatable (j/k) breakfast...and they don't really consider eating breakfast out. Can you tell I miss it!?

And don't forget the raw egg to crack open on top of the rice. I seem to remember that the MiraCosta had some sort of western breakfast buffet that was open only to hotel guests (but not included in the room rate), but this may have changed.

Prometheus and Porto Paradiso in all it's pre-park opening early-morning splendor! We actually dined there as the park was opening, and got to experience the "running of the bulls" from a safe vantage point. Spectacular!
