DYING for a good, American style breakfast SOMEWHERE! :)

The Ambassador has only Chef Mickey, but it is unfortunately restricted to hotel guests only.

That leaves you with the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel or the MiraCosta.

The first has Sherwood Garden, which has a nice selection in a very large dining room (shouldn't be a problem getting in without reservations). There is also the Dreamers' Lounge breakfast buffet, but that is restricted to Concierge guests only.

The MiraCosta has two restaurants serving breakfast buffets; Oceano and BellaVista. The latter is a bit small in terms of seats, but the view is unbeatable.

Again, the Western selections are about the same among the 3 hotels so choose whichever one you prefer based on atmosphere/decor.

I don't particularly like the breakfasts at the MiraCosta - I don't think the offerings are as good as TDLH. You aren't missing much with Chef Mickey's - there is very little American-style food.

Freakin BIZARRO Denny's, with no breakfast to speak of and lots of tentacles on the menu!

As for IHOP; once, long ago, on a lonely road heading towards Mt. Fuji, I saw her.

Shimmering in the mist, she beckoned. But we were late to ride roller coasters. I vowed to return.

On the return trip, I was outvoted for Korean Bar-b-Que.

    I never saw her again.

To this day I wonder if she really existed at all.

    Genuine Breakfast
There's no such thing in this place
    Skip, then early lunch

    Yikes!

Does Mickey D's sell pancakes in Japan? Or do they served pickled squid sandwiches for breakfast?

Did they do some survey that said Japanese people don't dig Mexican grub, or something!?

(assuming you can even really call Taco Bell "Mexican grub" lol)

I did read that Taco Bell had finally ventured into Mexico recently, but had to adjust its menu to appeal to Mexican patrons.

    Barely. :p

It IS pretty much the cheapest fast food grub on the planet though. You can fill up for like $3.50.

It was 6 people living in the same apartment: Me and my Japanese gf at the time, my Korean best friend and her bf, our other friend a Scottish girl and another Korean guy who was the bf best friend. NONE of them ever ate or even heard of Taco Bell until they met me and once they got a taste, it was like crack cocaine to them ;D.

We use to get it on the weekend and just put in this HUGE massive order and then I would get on the base through a friend to get it and we chow down at home. So I dont get it either. Taco Bell seem like it do just as well in most places like McD, KFC, Pizza Hut, etc worldwide, but they seem limited to North America for some reason. Or maybe they are in some countries, but obviously a scant few.
