Nothing, and I repeat, nothing was done on the cheap more than Mr. Toad. It was (is in DL) a standard carnival fun house ride with cardboard and day glow painted cutouts. It may have been a "classic" but a classic what? I think a classic example of how little money can be spent and still "draw'um in". I am not saying that Pooh is better, in fact it is close to the same thing but I will never be able to grasp the idea that this was worth saving. 20K, yes! Cop, yes! Horizons, yes? WoL, yes! Timekeeper, yes! At least all these required imagineering and imagination. Toad, not so much! JMHO

(Imagine an "E"-Ticket version of the ride, if you will!) But, what the heck, I too, missed the old "C-Ticket" Toad at WDW! At least they replaced it with another (slightly upgraded) "C-Ticket" ride with Pooh, unlike Disneyland's Pooh ride replacing a bonafide "E-Ticket" with the Country Bears. Personally, I'd love to see more "C-Ticket" Fantasyland dark rides at the Magic Kingdom. With the loss of 20K now, they have lots of room to make a much larger, and more cohesive, Fantasyland. Sadly, they chose the REALLY CHEAP playground route to fill in THAT hole!

I am sorry to those Mr. Toad lovers but if it had been viewed as a "great attraction", by the majority, it would still be there.
