Bringing Food Into Disneyland

    YOu can bring in food and bottled water as long as you don't bring in glass or cans. We've taken sandwiches, fruit, trail mix, water bottles, etc.
    However, we stopped carrying water bottles because they are so heavy, and you can get free ice water from any counter service restaurant.

    Somewhat OT, but a few years ago I wasn't allowed to bring in an aerosol can of foot powder. So unless the rules have been relaxed, if you use spray sunscreen or any other aerosol product, it may be confiscated as well.

    My daughter did get turned away with a loaf of bread and jar of peanut butter. (I TOLD her the sandwiches had to be premade.) So I always make ours first.
    I often carry in an empty water bottle so I can fill it in the park and always have it available.
    AND: If you or someone in your party has special dietary needs; they have to let you bring in your food. It is the law.

    The picnic area is just off the Esplanade. It's outside the parks, but inside the security checkpoints.

    Once you're through the bag check, if you face the Disneyland entrance, there's a small souvenir stand to the left. Left of that are lockers and bathrooms. Left of those is the picnic area. Got it?
