After she told me about it, i got to thinking about the time i was about 16, and my friends sister was a dancer at a place called the "whiskey a go go" in hollywood, for people in the l.a area way back when you might remember it, the girls wore short dresses with fringe (compared to what they almost wear today, they were burkas !! LOL)so my friends sister was sick and asked me if i wanted to take her place for a couple of days, since i already did back ground dancing i said sure !! so of course i told my parents i was baby sitting and the people worked until late at night and they would bring me home. all was fine UNTIL my sister told my dad that i borrowed her science book and could he take her to where i was baby sitting to get it. well surprise,surprise i was no where to be found !! later that night i was having so much fun and i look down and there's my dad, GLARING at me as only a dad can do, i just looked at him and said"hi dad!! it was the longest ride home in my life !! and to say i was grounded was putting it mildly !! and then my friends sister almost lost her job because she said i was 18, and he could have been in a lot of trouble for letting me work there !! So this brings up the question: Does this bring back memories for any one else out there ?

When I left the girl's house, I went outside and my bike was gone!!!! OMG - I was late and had to explain my bike was stolen too. When I got home I told some of the truth (not that I got to 3rd base, but I lost track of the time and when I went outside my bike was missing). Because I did not lie and blame the bike being stolen for my lateness (my rotten mom took my bike to teach me a lesson, and check if I was a liar), but rather being absent minded. My grounding was only a week instead of two.... You think I would have learnt my lesson, but this was a long string of misteps and punishments because of my addiction to women. Thankfully I'm married now!

Originally Posted By murfsmom it was live bands,some new just starting out, like johnny rivers and etc they played records once in a while,like between sets. as for "caged " woman, they were like giant birdcages, but the back part was all open. i only got to do it for a couple nights before before the my dads eyes were glaring at me, trust me when i say"irish eyes were NOT smiling that night !!! LOL!!
