I didn't want to brag, but I guess now you know who the REAL father is. I was trying for the mom but what the hell... the daughter was easier.

    ;-)

OK guys... joke... in poor taste... all that crap. But I still found it mildly amusing even if no one else does.

That's just for starters. This kid better hope he's tough-skinned and athletic. If he grows into a clumsy geek, the other kids will be merciless.

And her 17-year-old unmarried daughter gets knocked up by a high school drop-out whose mother was recently arraigned on felony drug charges.

Yet Palin carries on as if there's no disconnect between what she preaches and what her own experience shows to be true.

Worse, many Americans appear not to be able to see the irony.

    It makes my head hurt.

She just needs to go away. I really don't want to see her involved in national politics in any way. On the other hand, at least while she sticks to Alaska, she and her family are good for a laugh or twelve.

Left, Right, Center, or Martian, only a fool would be so blind as to not acknowledge that. No spin here, she is "caught on tape" about a million and one times at this point. Can't deny it.

Perhaps not. But she's also not the presidential material many on the right tried to make her, either.

I'm sure you think so, but a majority of voters disagree.

ALL politicians say dumb stuff at times (remember Obama's 57 states?).

Here are some rather stupid things said by a man that most people regard as a pretty good president.

“Trees cause more pollution than automobiles."

"All the waste in a year from a nuclear power plant can be stored under a desk."

"The state of California has no business subsidizing intellectual curiosity."

"Approximately 80 percent of our air pollution stems from hydrocarbons released by vegetation, so let's not go overboard in setting and enforcing tough emission standards from man-made sources."

"We are trying to get unemployment to go up, and I think we're going to succeed."

“A tree's a tree. How many more do you need to look at?”

Personally, I don't think Palin was ready to be president. On the other hand, she took far more grief than she deserved.
